IS CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FAIR? (argumentative essay)

Capital punishment or death penalty is the killing of guilties as a punishment.It is a controversial issue that people discuss about all over the world.Some people are supporter of the capital punishment and they say that it should bu used in order to deter from crimes.On the other hand,the others are against to capital punishment.I think capital punishment is horrifying and should not be used.
In my opinion,capital punishment is barbaric and cruel.There have been some methods that used in execution of a person in history such as burning,hanging,electrocution,guillotine, starvation etc…Whether it’s a electric chair,lethal injection,hanging or other types of capital punishment,it is barbaric and terrifying to kill murder in front of a crowd of people.We as a society condemn people like Saddam Hussein when he murder his own people but while he was being hanged, so many people watched that scene without feeling anything.
Capital punishment ,in other word,death penalty is also wrong in our religion belief.God gives our lives and God takes our lives from us so people shouldn’t kill each other.”If anyone kills person –unless it would be murder or for spreading mischief in the land-it would be as if he killed all people.And if anyone saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all people.I think this sentence is so meaningful and it explains everything that I try to explain.
Finally,I believe that life in prison is a worse punishment and more effective deterrent.Dealth penalty is simple for guilties.Some people say that in order to reduce crime,capital punishment should be used.Also,they think that it is the most effective solution.However,they should know death may be too good for them.A death penalty brings finality to guilties but in the prison, their pain go on for decades.They face a lot of problems in there.It is more painful and difficult for them.
In conclusion, capital punishment is barbaric and horrifying.Instead of it, we should use other kinds of punishment.Nobody deserves death penalty no matter what they do because everbody has a right to live so nobody has a right to take it from them.
